23XI’s Kreig Robinson to Deliver Opening Keynote at Inaugural WAM Summit

“Women in Automotive & Motorsports Summit” at Tennessee State University Sept. 24-26

Kreig Robinson, Director of Engagement and Impact for NASCAR Cup Series’ 23XI Racing team, will deliver the opening keynote at the Women in Automotive and Motorsports (WAM) Summit, September 25 at Tennessee State University in Nashville.

Robinson, a partnership and marketing executive with 20 years’ experience, has been with the Michael Jordan-Denny Hamilton-Curtis Polk owned team since it began in 2020.  He has played a major role developing an inclusive staff that has produced significant results on the track while helping to create 23XI’s SPEED Institute, leading to initiatives that expanded the team’s impact beyond the track. 

Prior to his role at 23XI, he built a highly successful consulting firm delivering national campaigns within motorsports for clients such as Jordan Brand, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Harley Davidson, and Red Bull. 

“What drives me is building connections,” says Robinson.  “And that starts early in one’s career. I’m eager to share my career in motorsports with those at WAM because many of those attending, while having a passion for the automotive and motorsports industry, have not witnessed much involvement from oft-underrepresented communities.  I thrive at the crossroads of culture, strategy and execution.”

The Sept. 24-26 WAM Summit, hosted by Tennessee State University and STEAM Sports Foundation, will focus primarily on women who seek to establish careers as engineers in motorsports and the automotive sector.  In addition to presentations by various members of those professional communities, the summit will feature a career fair where students can explore career and internship opportunities.  HBCU GO TV, the summit’s media partner, will provide pre-promotion of the event and a post-event production of WAM.

Other participants currently include Brandon Thompson (NASCAR), Dorea Dewberry (IMSA), Matt Greci (Nashville Superspeedway), Alia Hall (Aumovio), Cheryl Thompson (former CEO & founder of CADIA), Makaela Pine (EM Mobility), and Harold Michael Martin (Martin Technologies).

Additional presenters and keynotes will be announced in the coming weeks with a focus on topics such as career development, autonomous and electric vehicles, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, and sustainability.
