The STEAM Sports Foundation is dedicated to building a strong, inclusive, and sustainable workforce development pipeline for the motorsports and automotive industries by empowering underserved students through STEAM education, professional development, mentorship, and career-focused opportunities. Our mission is to increase representation and create equitable access to high-growth careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics within the automotive and motorsports sectors.
Through our four core pillars — Scholarships, Immersion Tours, Internships, and Summits— the Foundation provides students and emerging professionals with the resources, exposure, and industry connections needed to thrive in competitive STEAM and motorsports careers.
Our Scholarship programs help remove financial barriers for students pursuing educational pathways in STEAM, motorsports, automotive technology, and engineering. Through Immersion Tours, participants gain firsthand access to professional environments including racing facilities, automotive manufacturers, innovation labs, race team operations, and major sporting events, helping them explore career opportunities and build confidence within the industry.
The Foundation’s Internship initiatives provide hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and workforce readiness training that equip students with practical skills and meaningful industry connections. Additionally, our Summits & Events bring together students, educators, executives, drivers, engineers, and industry leaders for networking, leadership development, educational workshops, and inclusive collaborative conversations centered on innovation and the future of motorsports and automotive careers.
